We were in the area for skiing, staying at a nearby lodge so we stopped in at the Rendezvous Diner for breakfast. We were happy with the food and experience that we came back a second time for breakfast. Service was friendly, the coffee was good and so was the food. The place is rustic and super cute but cozy. We had the oatmeal and green chili omelet with potatoes. The oatmeal was solidly good and sprinkled with cinnamon but not fancy; homey. The omelet was spicy and tasty and the potatoes were very good. We’ll be sure to stop back in when were in the Greer area!

The diner is in a very rustic looking cabin. The inside decor features an eclectic collection of historic pictures of Greer, vintage brown glass bottles, and diner poster art. Classic Trivial Pursuit cards are at most tables to add to the fun. The staff is friendly, and helpful. The man with the handlebar mustache is delightfully cranky. The food arrives hot, plentiful, and delicious.

100 years of service and the decor to prove it! If you are like me, you love eating local flavor. I believe one of the best ways to learn about the true heart of an area is through its restaurants. Rendezvous doesn't disappoint. It's classic. It's local. The food is very good. Its the best place within miles.

Cute small place in greer. Historic building with interesting decor all over. Home style food with larger portions. I had the special with biscuit and gravy, with green chili. Good meal. Price is about what you would expect for the resort area.
